Workshop “JOB IN LOGISTICS” – Practical Career Orientation for Logistics Students
The workshop “JOB IN LOGISTICS,” organized by the VLC – VAA Logistics Club, was successfully held on January 11, 2026, leaving many positive impressions on students of the Faculty of Air Transport Economics, Vietnam Aviation Academy. The event took place in the context of the logistics industry increasingly affirming its important role in the global supply chain, particularly through its close linkage with aviation, commerce, and service sectors. Through the workshop, students had the opportunity to access practical information about career pathways, industry development trends, and current labor market requirements.
Participating in the program were speakers with extensive experience in both academia and business practice, including Ms. Le Thi Thu Du – Lecturer at the Faculty of Air Transport Economics; Mr. Pham Anh Tuan – Director of Airfreight Viet Nam, OPS Logistics; and Mr. Le Ba Khang – Operations Manager at CJ Logistics, former Operations Manager at Lazada Logistics. With their diverse perspectives, the speakers provided students with a comprehensive overview of the logistics industry from theoretical foundations to operational practice.

The speakers presented an overall picture of the logistics industry from academic perspectives to practical business operations. The presented topics focused on the role of logistics in the modern economy, the relationship between logistics and the aviation industry, as well as prominent development trends in the context of international integration. In addition, the speakers clearly analyzed common job positions in the logistics sector, particularly in areas related to air transport, operations management, e-commerce, and multinational supply chains. Through real-life examples drawn from teaching and professional experience, the speakers helped students better understand recruitment requirements, work pressure, and essential skills such as systems thinking, adaptability, a sense of responsibility, teamwork skills, and foreign language proficiency—key factors enabling graduates to meet employers’ expectations.
In addition to the professional sharing sessions, the workshop dedicated significant time to interactive discussions and a question-and-answer session between students and the speakers. Many questions related to employment opportunities, internship experience, suitable job selection, and career development pathways were thoroughly addressed by the speakers. The open and friendly atmosphere encouraged students to confidently share their concerns, thereby receiving practical advice aligned with their individual orientations.

The workshop “JOB IN LOGISTICS” not only provided career-related information but also contributed to raising students’ awareness of the importance of proactive learning, skills development, and the accumulation of practical experience. Through the program, students of the Faculty of Air Transport Economics gained greater motivation to more clearly define their career paths in logistics, a field with strong development potential in the context of deep economic integration.
The success of the workshop once again affirmed the positive role of the VLC – VAA Logistics Club in organizing academic activities and providing career orientation for students. This also serves as evidence of the efforts of the Faculty of Air Transport Economics in linking education with practical application, thereby contributing to improving human resource quality and meeting the demands of the logistics industry and the future labor market.
