At the conclusion of the conference, the Organizing Committee highly appreciated the active participation and valuable contributions of delegates, keynote speakers, and contributing authors. The Committee also expressed its expectation that GMISD will continue to be sustained and further developed as a reputable academic forum, making meaningful contributions to the sustainable development goals of the education sector and the broader economy in the years ahead.
GMISD 2025 SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE: GREEN MANAGEMENT AND ITS IMPLICATIONS IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
On December 20, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration, Vietnam Aviation Academy successfully organized the Scientific Conference “Green Management and Its Implications in Sustainable Development (GMISD 2025)” – the third edition. As an annual academic event, GMISD serves as a scholarly platform for exchanging knowledge, disseminating research findings, and discussing practical issues related to management, economics, and sustainable development in the context of green transition and digital transformation.

The conference was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Hoai An – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Academy Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Co Tan Anh Vu – Vice Director of the Academy, together with leaders of functional departments and academic units of the Vietnam Aviation Academy. The event also attracted the participation of a large number of scholars, lecturers, doctoral candidates, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students from universities and research institutions across the country.


In the opening remarks, representatives of the Academy’s leadership emphasized the strategic importance of green management and sustainable development in the long-term development agendas of organizations, enterprises, and higher education institutions. The leadership also reaffirmed the role of GMISD as a meaningful academic forum that promotes research activities, innovation, and stronger linkages between theoretical insights and practical applications.


Within the conference framework, the plenary session featured introductory presentations and keynote speeches focusing on emerging trends in green management, sustainable development, and the challenges facing societies and economies in the current socio-economic context. These contributions provided in-depth academic perspectives while highlighting potential research directions and managerial implications with strong practical relevance.


Following the plenary session, a series of parallel thematic sessions were conducted across multiple venues, featuring dozens of high-quality papers addressing a wide range of topics, including sustainable aviation and airport operations; green marketing and consumer behavior; green human resource management and organizational behavior; education, training, and leadership for sustainable development; sustainable supply chains, logistics, and the circular economy; green tourism and sustainable business models; green accounting and finance; and digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and technology for sustainable development. The discussions were lively and constructive, reflecting the strong engagement and growing interest of the academic community in sustainability-related issues in contemporary settings.


Beyond serving as a forum for academic exchange, GMISD 2025 contributed to strengthening connections among researchers, lecturers, and learners, fostering research collaboration, facilitating knowledge sharing, and promoting green management thinking within both academic circles and management practice.
