Vietnam Aviation Academy hosts workshop on “Green Buildings & Sustainable Materials”

The workshop, held as part of the Univers Tour 2025 program, focused on the theme “Green Building Standards and Their Impact on Material Selection.”

During the session, speakers presented key topics such as green building certification systems, trends in green and recycled materials, and practical applications in construction across Vietnam.

Through the workshop, students gained practical insights from industry experts and developed a deeper understanding of how material selection plays a crucial role in reducing emissions, conserving energy, and improving the quality of urban living environments.

Through case discussions and Q&A sessions, students were able to engage directly with real-world scenarios, reinforcing the importance of sustainable material choices. The workshop also created opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the academy and industry in training construction professionals aligned with “green” and sustainable development goals.

Univers Tour 2025 awarded five scholarships, along with various gifts and safety helmets, to encourage students’ learning, research spirit, and the promotion of traffic safety culture.

Within the program, Univers Tour 2025 presented five scholarships (totaling 20 million VND) as well as numerous gifts and helmets to support and motivate participating students.

The Faculty of Construction and the Vietnam Aviation Academy sincerely acknowledge the partnership of Tien Phong Plastic South JSC in academic activities, jointly working toward training construction engineers with strong professional capabilities, a sustainable mindset, and a sense of responsibility to the community.
