THE 7th CONGRESS OF THE VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY STUDENT’S ASSOCIATION, TERM 2025 – 2028, CONCLUDED SUCCESSFULLY
“Vietnamese Students at the Vietnam Aviation Academy
UNITY – STRENGTH – COURAGE – INTEGRATION – ASPIRATION”
On October 5, 2025, the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Aviation Academy Student Association, term 2025–2028, was solemnly and successfully held at the Vietnam Aviation Academy in a spirit of democracy, solidarity, and enthusiasm. This important political event marks a new milestone in the development of the Student Association’s work and student movements at the Academy in the era of innovation, creativity, and global integration.
The Congress had the honor of welcoming Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Nam Khanh Giao – Vice President of the Vietnam Aviation Academy; Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Quy – Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Academy; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Linh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Standing Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hao – Secretary of the Academy’s Youth Union; together with representatives from student associations of other universities, and 195 official delegates representing more than 12,000 members and students of the Academy.

An overview of the 7th Congress of the Vietnam Aviation Academy Student Association, term 2025–2028
During the past term, the Student Association of the Vietnam Aviation Academy has achieved remarkable results, affirming the pioneering role of Aviation youth in academic excellence, scientific research, and community engagement. Academy students have constantly strived to improve themselves, demonstrating creativity and initiative in learning, while participating in various research projects and applied science initiatives serving the aviation industry. Major student movements such as “Five-Good Students,” “The January Journey,” and “A Good News Every Day – A Beautiful Story Every Week” were implemented vibrantly, providing a comprehensive environment for students to develop their capabilities and qualities. Alongside these, volunteer activities, community engagement, social welfare, and gratitude programs were widely promoted, contributing to shaping the image of Vietnam Aviation Academy students as not only professionally competent but also compassionate, responsible, and socially aware.

At the Congress, delegates engaged in lively discussions and contributed many enthusiastic and heartfelt opinions to the Draft Document of the 7th Congress, while unanimously adopting the directions and tasks for the 2025–2028 term with the goal of: “Promoting the role, intelligence, and courage of Aviation Academy students in the new era – proactively integrating, pioneering innovation, and demonstrating the steadfast spirit of Aviation students.”
Delivering a directive speech at the Congress, Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Quy – Member of the Party Executive Committee of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, acknowledged and commended the significant efforts and achievements of the Academy’s Student Association and student movements during the 2023–2025 term. She emphasized that in recent years, the Student Association has effectively represented the voice and aspirations of students, serving as a pioneering force in academic excellence, scientific research, skill development, and community engagement. Programs, competitions, and volunteer campaigns have created valuable environments for Aviation students to demonstrate their competence, creativity, and spirit of dedication. Ms. Hoang urged that in the upcoming term, the Executive Committee of the Student Association should continue to foster unity and innovation in both content and approach, while promoting practical and industry-oriented student activities closely aligned with the Academy’s unique characteristics. She expressed her belief that these efforts would nurture a generation of students who are both “morally upright and professionally skilled” meeting the growing demands of the aviation industry in the context of international integration.

Also delivering a directive address, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Linh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Standing Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association, congratulated the Congress and praised the dynamism, creativity, and effectiveness of student movements at the Academy during the past term. She recognized the proactive and innovative spirit of the Academy’s Student Association in implementing meaningful and action-oriented programs aligned with both political missions and professional characteristics of the aviation field. Ms. Linh highlighted that the Vietnam Aviation Academy Student Association has continuously affirmed its position within the citywide student movement network, becoming one of the units with stable, sustainable growth and many exemplary models and effective practices. Academic, research, startup, cultural, sports, and volunteer activities have greatly enriched student life, shaping a distinctive brand of “Aviation Students – courageous, pioneering, united, integrated, and creative”.

She also expressed her hope that in the new term, the 7th Executive Committee of the Academy’s Student Association will continue to inherit and promote the fine traditions of previous generations; strengthen connections and collaborations with other student associations within the city’s network; and further spread the image of Aviation students who are dynamic, innovative, and globally minded. She placed her trust in the new team of student leaders, believing they will remain steadfast, united, and passionate – serving as a strong bridge between students and the Academy, between aspirations and achievements, between youthful dreams and the mission of nation-building in a new era.
In addition, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hao – Secretary of the Academy’s Youth Union, extended his warm congratulations to the Congress, affirming that the close coordination between the Youth Union and the Student Association in recent years has contributed to creating an energetic, supportive environment for students to study, train, and dedicate themselves. He expressed confidence that in the new term, the two organizations will continue to work closely together to organize meaningful programs, spreading the pioneering, creative, and devoted spirit of Aviation students – young individuals driven by the aspiration to conquer the skies and shape the future.

After a focused and efficient working session, conducted in a spirit of democracy, responsibility, and unity, the Congress successfully elected the 7th Executive Committee of the Vietnam Aviation Academy Student Association, consisting of 21 outstanding, dedicated, and dynamic members who possess the qualities and competence to lead the student movement in the new phase. At the first meeting of the 7th Executive Committee, delegates unanimously elected Ms. Nguyen Huynh Hong Cam as President of the Academy’s Student Association, and Mr. Ho Van Manh together with Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phu Manh as Vice Presidents. The Congress also expressed its deep gratitude to the 6th Executive Committee for their remarkable dedication, efforts, and achievements during the 2023–2025 term.

In his inaugural address, Mr. Nguyễn Huỳnh Hồng Cẩm, the newly elected President of the 7th Executive Committee of the Vietnam Aviation Academy Students’ Association, expressed his deep honor and pride in being entrusted by the Congress with this important responsibility. He emphasized that this is not only a source of joy but also a great mission before the entire student community of the Academy.
He stated: “The 7th Executive Committee will continue striving for innovation and creativity, promoting the spirit of ‘Students of the Vietnam Aviation Academy – Solidarity, Strength, Courage, Integration, and Advancement.’ We aim to spread positive values, strengthen the Students’ Association, and truly become a trusted and devoted companion to all students in their study, research, and self-development”.
