Seminar on Effective Utilization of the Long Thanh – Tan Son Nhat Airport Pair

On September 11, the International Scientific Conference entitled “The Long Thanh – Tan Son Nhat International Airport Pair: Operational Strategies for Shaping the National Aviation Gateway Towards a Regional Transit Hub in the New Era” was held at the Vietnam Aviation Academy. The event was co-organized by the Vietnam Aviation Academy, the Institute for Smart City and Management (ISCM), and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City.
The International Scientific Conference titled “The Long Thanh – Tan Son Nhat International Airport Pair: Operational Strategies for Shaping the National Aviation Gateway Towards a Regional Transit Hub in the New Era” brought together Mr. Uong Viet Dung – Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Mr. Tran Hoai Phuong – Director of the Southern Airports Authority, leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction and Dong Nai Province, along with experts, enterprises, universities, and members of the Steering Committee for the Long Thanh International Airport Project.
The Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy delivered a speech at the conference.
The conference was honored to receive a wide range of contributions from experts, businesses, and regulatory authorities, focusing on solutions for coordinated operations between Long Thanh and Tan Son Nhat airports, optimizing transport connectivity, and building a sustainable aviation ecosystem, with the ultimate goal of positioning Long Thanh as a regional air transit hub.
