Application Of Artificial Intelligence – Shaping The Future Of The Logistics Industry

On the morning of April 20, 2025, the VLC Club (VAA Logistics Club)—Faculty of Aviation Economics—Vietnam Aviation Academy held the “AI IN LOGISTICS” workshop at Vietnam Aviation Academy (Campus 1). This event provided students with an opportunity to update their knowledge, broaden their perspectives, and explore how artificial intelligence is being powerfully applied in the field of logistics.

Accompanying the program was Mr. Nguyen Thai Binh—Chairman of the Institute for AI Technology Application and Digital Commerce. With extensive experience and profound understanding of technology and supply chains, the guest speaker delivered practical, insightful, and inspiring sharing sessions for all students.

Beyond theoretical knowledge, the workshop created an open space for discussion, helping students gain a clearer understanding of their career paths amid a logistics industry that is constantly evolving and adapting to technological advancements.

The workshop presented a comprehensive overview of the significant paradigm shift occurring in the logistics industry in the age of artificial intelligence. It shed light on key applications such as demand forecasting, intelligent transportation routing, and warehouse management optimization. Furthermore, the workshop delved into the analysis of real-world business case studies—examining both remarkable successes and instructive failures, along with the crucial lessons learned. It also addressed the critical question of the role of logistics human resources in the digital age: how to remain relevant and become a leading force. Finally, students had the invaluable opportunity to directly interact and engage in discussions with industry experts, gaining firsthand perspectives that were both insightful and practical and inspiring.
