Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) announces the Master’s program enrollment for 2024 as follows:

- Tuition Fee:
– Tuition fee for the entire course: 78,000,000 VND
– 20% discount for students of the academy; graduates of VAA; those working in the aviation industry; and those working at units with an MOU signed with the academy.

- Enrollment Requirements and Eligibility
1.1. Have graduated from University or met the conditions for university graduation recognition (or equivalent or higher)
- Majors that are the same or suitable for the registered major (Appendix 1): No supplementary knowledge courses required;
- Related majors and majors different from the registered major (Appendix 1): Mandatory supplementary knowledge courses required to be eligible for admission consideration;
- The supplementary knowledge subjects are determined based on the standard curriculum currently implemented for the Business Administration major of the Aviation Academy and the list of subjects that the applicant has accumulated at the undergraduate level;
- List of required supplementary subjects divided for bachelor’s degree holders according to industry groups: See Appendix 2.
1.2. Possess foreign language proficiency at Level 3 or higher or equivalent according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam
- Hold a university degree or higher where the program was primarily taught in a foreign language or hold a domestic university degree or higher in a foreign language major;
- Hold a university degree from an advanced program under the Ministry of Education and Training’s Project on advanced programs at some Vietnamese universities or a high-quality engineering degree (PFIEV) recognized by the French Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), with a foreign partner jointly awarding the degree;
- Hold a university degree or higher issued by the training institution itself within the last 02 years where the program’s output standards met the foreign language requirement of Level 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam;
- Possess a foreign language proficiency certificate at Level 3/6 of the 6-level framework for Vietnam, valid until the registration date, issued by a training institution authorized or recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training;
- Foreign applicants possess a Vietnamese language proficiency certificate of at least Level 4 or higher according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners or have graduated from university (or equivalent or higher) where the training program was taught in Vietnamese.
- Candidates who do not have the aforementioned foreign language degrees or certificates are required to take the Academy’s English language proficiency assessment test.

- Admission Method
2.1. Direct Admission
– Graduates with a university degree in the same or suitable major, with a graduation ranking of Good or higher from VAA and possessing the foreign language proficiency specified in section 1.2;
– Graduates with a university degree or equivalent in the same or suitable major from other training institutions, with a graduation ranking of Excellent and possessing the foreign language proficiency specified in section 1.2;
2.2. Admission based on academic record
Based on undergraduate academic performance
2.3. Admission Criteria
– Admission Score = GPA + Priority Points (if any);
– The Academy will admit candidates based on the admission score from highest to lowest until the quota is full. If multiple applications have the same score at the final quota position, priority will be given to candidates with higher foreign language proficiency. Other special cases will be decided by the Admissions Council.
- Priority Subjects and Levels
3.1. Priority Subjects
- Individuals with two or more consecutive years of work experience (up to the application submission date) in localities designated as KV1 (according to the current regulations on university and college full-time enrollment). In this case, the applicant must have a work assignment or transfer decision from a competent agency or organization;
- War invalids, persons entitled to policies like war invalids;
- Children of martyrs;
- Heroes of the armed forces, labor heroes;
- Ethnic minorities with permanent residence for 02 years or more in KV1 areas;
- Biological children of war veterans exposed to chemical toxins, recognized by the provincial People’s Committee as having deformities, malformations, or reduced self-reliance in daily life and learning due to the effects of chemical toxins.
3.2. Priority Levels
The above subjects (including those belonging to multiple priority groups) will receive an additional 01 (one) point to their admission score.

Register online as follows:
+ Step 1: Register online at tuyensinh.vaa.edu.vn, tab “Xét tuyển thạc sĩ” (Master’s Admission);
+ Step 2: Upload required documents (scanned from the original);
+ Step 3: Enter the confirmation code and submit the application. After the application is recorded, candidates will receive a successful registration notification email.
