ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT ANNOUNCEMENT – 2024 SUPPLEMENTARY ROUND

1. 2024 SUPPLEMENTARY RESULTS:

Admission scores for the supplementary round:

CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN ADMITTED TO ANOTHER UNIVERSITY AND HAVE CONFIRMED THEIR ENROLLMENT ON THE MOET SYSTEM ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENROLL AT THE ACADEMY.

*Note:

– The result is based on the information candidates submitted online. The Academy will verify documents after enrollment; any false or inaccurate declaration may lead to result cancellation.

– Candidates may be eligible for multiple majors, but only the highest priority choice will be officially recognized. The Academy considers entrance exam scores first, then academic records. Once a candidate is admitted through one method, other methods will not be considered.

1. ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE:

1/ Online fees:
– 15-month health insurance (01/10/2024 – 31/12/2025): 1,106,000 VND.
– Application cover fee: 12,000 VND.

– Tuition fee for Semester 1, Academic Year 2024-2025, as per the table below (includes health insurance and cover fee):

Note:
– Tuition fees must be paid ONLINE before submitting documents. Pay here. Watch the payment tutorial here.

In special cases, students will be guided to pay online fees on-site. After online payment, the system will issue a student ID and password for sv.vaa.edu.vn. Students can then update personal info, view class schedules, and submit requests (if needed).
– If the address on the online receipt is incorrect, students can correct it later.
– Students with valid insurance must still pay in full and will be refunded.
– For Bao Kim payments, enter the exact amount (tuition + 3,300 service fee) without rounding or over/underpaying. Incorrect payments will be rejected.
– The Academy will not offer dormitory accommodation in 2024-2025 due to renovations.

1. Direct fees: Pay during enrollment
   – Uniforms: See price list here
   – Student card photo: 50,000 VND;
   – Health check: 60,000 VND.

3/ Submit student documents and complete procedures:

– Students must enroll in person at Campus 2: 18A/1 Cong Hoa, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, HCMC according to their major’s schedule:

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: afternoon, 29/08/2024

ELECTRONICS – TELECOMMUNICATIONS, AUTOMATION, CIVIL ENGINEERING: full day 30/08/2024
– The Academy sends admission notices via email and website only (no printed offers). For military deferral certificates, students must submit a form on the student portal (sv.vaa.edu.vn) after completing enrollment.

Youth Union card: submit the original at the Youth Union – Student Association desk (Step 7, Room G103). Do not include it with the main document set.

Register an online bank account: Students are encouraged to open a VietinBank account as all transactions (tuition, fees…) are free of charge. Guide here. Video here.

III. ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST, CITIZENSHIP ORIENTATION, MEETING WITH FACULTIES & OFFICIAL CLASSES:

Citizenship Orientation: conducted ONLINE on 05/09/2024.

Faculty Meetings: held IN-PERSON on 06 – 07/09/2024 at Campus 2. See schedule: https://vaa.edu.vn/thong-bao-sinh-hoat-cong-dan-va-gap-mat-tan-sinh-vien-2024/

English Placement Test: Training Department will announce on sv.vaa.edu.vn

Official Class Start: 09/09/2024. The Training Department will assign schedules for new students.

Note: late enrollments or students without tuition payment or student ID can still participate. Please be proactive to avoid missing important information.
