Vietnam Aviation Academy and Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation Sign Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement
On July 27, 2024, the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) and the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement aimed at leveraging each other’s strengths to enhance collaboration and support in training, recruitment, and technological development. Both parties are committed to a long-term and sustainable partnership.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Hoang Minh, Chairman of the Members’ Council, and Mr. Nguyen Cong Long, General Director of VATM, along with other senior leaders, including Deputy General Directors, representatives of the owner’s supervisory board, and representatives from various departments within VATM. Representing VAA were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Hoai An, Chairman of the Academy Council, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang, Director of the Academy, and leaders from various faculties.

Joint training programs: Collaborating on initial selection and training for Air Traffic Control certification through socialized basic training programs and on-the-job training for Air Traffic Management specialists.
Resource sharing: Providing access to information, materials, equipment, and facilities relevant to the areas of cooperation.
Expert support: VATM will provide experts and staff to support research, guidance, and training for VAA students.
Internship opportunities: Offering VAA students practical internship opportunities at VATM facilities.
Recruitment priority: Prioritizing the recruitment of qualified VAA graduates who meet VATM’s requirements.
Financial support: Providing financial support for specific cooperative activities as mutually agreed upon.
