Immediately following the opening ceremony, a conference of the founding universities’ rectors was held to reach a consensus on the scale, venue, and hosting institution for the 2025 International Drone Competition. During this conference, the co-founding universities identified joint research directions on drones for agricultural applications and agreed to co-organize a scientific conference in this field in 2025.

The competition spans two days, November 21st and 22nd, 2024, and features a series of engaging activities, including preliminary rounds, semi-finals, finals, and an award ceremony. The participating teams will face challenging tasks that demand a seamless blend of specialized knowledge, practical skills, and teamwork.

With meticulous preparation and an international scope, the competition promises to deliver thrilling and engaging contests. It marks a significant step towards the robust development of UAV research and design in Vietnam.
