2019 ministerial-level research project
Building a model to detect foreign objects and warnings (FOD – Foreign Object Debris) to ensure the flight operations of the model, the runway head is chosen to arrange the foreign object detection system. The two images below show the location and arrangement of cameras on the airport model. This is the product of the 2019 ministerial-level scientific research project: Research on the application of image processing technology in detecting foreign objects (FOD).
The airport model is a miniature model of the entire scene, people, objects, and phenomena in the airport with a reduced size proportional to the actual size. It is a highly accurate simulation version that helps viewers evaluate and study the overall scale and structure of the airport. The model in the picture is the product of the 2017 ministerial-level scientific research project: Research on building an airport model with flight operations assurance services at the airport using automatic control technology.
