VAA lecturers participate in Lancang-Mekong Inspector Training Program organized by Cafuc
From November 4 to 17, at the invitation of CAFUC, the Vietnam Aviation Academy introduced three lecturers: Dr. Le Nhat Binh, Vice Dean of Aeronautical Engineering; Mrs. Ho Thi Vu Hien, Vice Dean of Aviation Operations; and Dr. Hoang Thi Kim Quy, Head of Aviation Management, to participate in the Lancang-Mekong Inspector Training Program. This training equipped trainee aviation safety inspectors with the necessary competences to perform designated safety oversight responsibilities in alignment with ICAO’s Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and technical guidance.
Participating in a short training course at the Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC), the largest civil aviation university in Asia and the world’s leading institution for flight training, is not just a learning experience; it is a journey filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable memories for three VAA’s lecturers. Access to state-of-the-art flight simulators, dedicated training airports, airline operation, air traffic control, and CNS, along with the expertise of seasoned instructors, provided three trainees with a glimpse into the world of aviation at its finest, particularly in aviation safety inspection.
Additionally, this training course provided three lecturers with the opportunity to interact with fellow trainees from a variety of backgrounds, including CAA Inspectors, Safety Officers and Quality Audits from Thailand, and Civil Aviation Authority members from Lao. This chance helps to share experiences, learning from each other, and forming lifelong friendships as well as cooperation internationally.
Thank you, CAFUC, for shaping this incredible journey for three VAA’s lecturers, and we look forward to future cooperation.
