Vietnam Aviation Academy is a public higher education institution in the national education system of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Academy was established under Decision No. 168/2006/QD-TTg, dated July 17, 2006 of the Prime Minister.
Vietnam Aviation Academy is a leading higher education institution in the country’s higher education system in the field of civil aviation, playing an important role in training and providing human resources for Vietnam’s aviation industry.
Vietnam Aviation Academy is subject to the state management of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the territorial administrative management of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam Aviation Academy is a public non-business unit assigned the autonomy to perform tasks, finance, organizational apparatus and personnel,… as prescribed by law. Vietnam Aviation Academy has legal status, has its own seal and is allowed to open accounts at commercial banks and the State Treasury.

Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) focuses on developing international cooperation in a broad and comprehensive direction. VAA has established reliable partnerships with many prestigious universities and organizations in the world such as the US, UK, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, China, Laos and many other countries.
