DUTIES OF THE SDGs DEPARTMENT
1. Tasks of caring for learners
- Care for learners, international students, potential learners
- Care for vulnerable learners: Support for learners with disabilities; support for students in emergency situations (difficulties, illness, funerals, etc.); prevent school violence.
- Gender-specific care: Prevention of sexual harassment; gender equality activities.
- School health care, health care, mental health
- Tasks of supporting learners
- Information support focal point for learners directly at P.TS-CTSV, social networks - multi-channel chat system, email box, etc.;
- Receive and resolve questions and complaints from learners;
- Orientation activities for learners;
- Financial support for learners: Scholarships (Study encouragement, study support, businesses, emergency support, international students, student exchange), credit for learners;
- Academic support activities, skills training, English proficiency improvement;
- Career services: Introducing job and internship opportunities for students, recruiting staff for businesses and labor market information; Building and maintaining relationships with business partners and organizations on jobs/internships; Seminars, internships, exchanges and career skills orientation; Career fairs; Mock interviews; Visiting businesses; Event series;
- Student support services: Issuing documents via electronic transaction portals; verification upon request of individuals and units; graduation gowns/photos.
2. Student management tasks
* Management of boarding students:
- Manage dormitories and boarding students, monitor the implementation of regulations, update appropriate regulations, procedures, and rules;
- Monitor boarding fees and related services of boarding students.
- Coordinate in building a modern and civilized dormitory management model;
- Establish and monitor self-managed student teams at the dormitory;
- Ensure security, order, prevent crime, and social evils in the dormitory area, creating a healthy living environment for students;
- Coordinate closely with local authorities to implement measures to protect political security, order and safety; organize cultural, sports, and volunteer activities for the local community;
- Coordinate with functional units to plan the annual repair and upgrade of dormitory facilities;
– Implement fire prevention and fighting work and conduct regular inspections;
– Organize activities to care for and support boarding students in studying, training, living, and the “Green – Clean – Beautiful – Civilized” movement.
* Monitoring of boarding students:
– Coordinate the management of boarding students with the Youth Union – Student Association, local authorities, Commune Police (wards, towns), and landlords in the area;
– Disseminate regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Academy on boarding work for students; receive and support boarding students on issues related to the school.
3. Tasks of educating political qualities, ethics, and lifestyle for students
- Organize the Citizenship – Student Activity Week for full-time university students;
– Be in charge of rewarding and disciplining learners;
– Implement the assessment of training results for full-time university students;
- Manage data and calculate training scores for full-time university students;
- Manage academic advising, monitor class activities; Organize, manage and evaluate the level of completion of the work of the Student Class Committee.
- School-level cultural and artistic activities: art performances, student singing; monitor activities of faculties, institutes, dormitories;
- Sports activities;
- Organize training and coaching of sports teams, cultural and artistic activities;
- Organize traditional Olympic competitions in various subjects;
- Implement school culture for learners;
- Educate, propagate and disseminate laws to students;
- Educate political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle for students;
