Vietnam Aviation Academy Appoints Two Key Management Officials to Strengthen Its Leadership Team

Vietnam Aviation Academy Announces the Appointment of Management Officials at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Center for Digital Research and Development

Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) has officially announced and presented appointment decisions for management officials at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Center for Digital Research and Development.

Accordingly, Dr. Pham Cong Thanh has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, following his tenure as Vice Dean in charge of the faculty. Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, M.Eng., has been appointed Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Research and Development, while continuing to oversee the Center’s operations.

The appointments were made in accordance with the Academy’s personnel regulations, based on leadership planning, organizational development needs, and the professional qualifications and capabilities of the appointed officials.

In recent years, Vietnam Aviation Academy has continuously expanded its academic portfolio by introducing new programs and specializations, while accelerating scientific research, digital transformation, and industry collaboration. Strengthening the leadership team is expected to further enhance the quality of education, research, and the implementation of the Academy’s strategic development goals.

The year 2026 also marks a significant milestone for VAA. The Academy is offering 18 undergraduate programs across 44 specializations, introducing a wide range of new programs in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, digital economy, financial technology, foreign languages, and other emerging fields. In addition, VAA is launching its first-ever doctoral program in Business Administration and a master’s program in Aeronautical Engineering, reinforcing its vision of building a comprehensive education and research ecosystem for the aviation industry and related disciplines.
