Vietnam Aviation Academy and China’s CAUC Forge Strategic Partnership to Expand International Opportunities

September 29, 2025 – Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) and the Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) Officially Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement

On September 29, 2025, the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) and the Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishes a comprehensive collaborative framework between the two institutions in key areas: training, scientific research, and academic exchange. Accordingly, VAA’s students and lecturers will benefit from exchange programs, opportunities to participate in international conferences, as well as joint research projects and scientific publications.

The Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) is one of the leading civil aviation training institutions in China, operating under the Civil Aviation Administration of China. With a history of over 70 years, CAUC has trained thousands of excellent pilots, engineers, managers, and aviation experts, boasting an extensive partnership network and modern facilities. Financial support and scholarship programs from CAUC will help reduce barriers and create maximum conditions for learners to gain study and work experiences in an international environment. Furthermore, CAUC will collaborate to train and provide Master’s and Doctoral degree programs for VAA’s young lecturers, aiming to standardize and enhance the quality of its human resources.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Hang – Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, emphasized: “This strategic cooperation not only opens doors of opportunity for Vietnamese students to access elite aviation education but also contributes to elevating VAA’s position within the global aviation education network.”

From the partner’s side, Professor Ding Shuiting – President of CAUC affirmed: “We believe that this agreement will further strengthen the friendly relationship between our two institutions, while also making a positive contribution to training high-quality human resources to meet the development and integration needs of the regional and global Aviation industry.”
