THE JOURNEY OF “UPGRADING YOUR PROFILE” WITH CV CLINIC
On May 18, 2026, the International Business Department under the Faculty of Air Transport Economics successfully organized the workshop entitled “The Journey of “Upgrading Your Profile” with CV CLINIC”. The program continued to attract great interest and active participation from a large number of students who aimed to improve their personal profiles, enhance their application skills, and better prepare for their future career paths. This was the second workshop in the career orientation series for students, following the success of the first workshop entitled “From CV to Career Path – How to Create an Outstanding Profile and Shape Your Future Career”.
Representing the International Business Department were MSc. Tran Thi Thu Hien – Head of Department, along with lecturers from the Division. On the guest side, the workshop was honored to welcome two experienced experts in the fields of human resources and recruitment, including Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Tra – HRBP Leader at Busy Ming Vietnam Trading Chain Co., Ltd. (HR Specialist at TopCV), and Mr. Do Trung Khanh – Senior HRBP at TikiNow (HR Specialist at TopCV). With practical experience in recruitment and human resource development at major enterprises, the two speakers provided students with valuable insights into how employers currently evaluate candidates’ profiles.
The highlight of this workshop was the 1-1 CV review activity. Each student’s CV was directly examined, analyzed, and commented on by the experts with specific recommendations aimed at helping students improve their application profiles more effectively and align them more closely with actual business requirements.
Experts Provided Direct CV Review and Editing for Students Participating in the Workshop.
Beyond the content, structure, and presentation format of a CV, students also received in-depth guidance related to CV appearance and professionalism in presentation; methods of describing experiences, projects, and extracurricular activities; skills in selecting appropriate keywords for job applications; as well as common mistakes that may cause a CV to be overlooked by recruiters. In addition, the experts guided students on how to highlight their personal strengths to create a unique impression and how to develop profiles aligned with their future career goals.
Through the practical and detailed feedback from the experts, many students recognized the limitations within their own CVs and gained a clearer understanding of how to optimize their profiles to improve competitiveness in the labor market. This direct interaction not only helped students improve their CV writing skills but also contributed to increasing their confidence when applying to enterprises in the future.
In addition to the practical knowledge and experiences gained from the workshop, participating students also received special benefits from the Gold Sponsor TopCV through TopCV Education VIP accounts. This opportunity allowed students to access additional tools and utilities that support competency profile development, CV optimization, and better preparation for future career orientation and development journeys. Account activation information was sent to the email addresses students used during registration for the program.
