FROM GLOBAL KOREA SCHOLARSHIP TO VIETNAMESE CLASSROOMS: INTRODUCING THE KOREAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM AT VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY
Amid the growing cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea, the demand for professionals with Korean language proficiency and relevant expertise for international working environments continues to increase. In response to this trend, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) offers the Korean Language Program (Program Code: 7220210), officially admitting students from 2026.
The Korean Language Program is designed with an application-oriented approach, combining Korean language proficiency with professional knowledge and skills in three major areas: Aviation, Logistics and Services; Business, Commerce and Technology; and Tourism and Travel Management.
A Teaching Team with Academic Experience in Korea

The program has a team of eight full-time lecturers, including four Vietnamese lecturers and four Korean lecturers. All lecturers hold at least a master’s degree and have received academic training in Korea.
Notably, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha was a recipient of the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) and graduated from the Master’s Program in Korean Studies at the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) in 2011. She also has professional experience in Korean literary translation.
Ms. Nguyen Thu Van was also a GKS recipient and graduated from the Master’s Program in Korean Language and Culture at Sangmyung University in 2020.
The lecturers’ academic backgrounds and professional experiences contribute to a learning environment that integrates Korean language and culture with practical professional contexts.
Korean Language Education with a Focus on Professional Applications
