FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN VIETRAVEL AIRLINES CAREER ORIENTATION AND RECRUITMENT SEMINAR

On the morning of June 25, students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages participated in the 2026 Vietravel Airlines Career Orientation and Cabin Crew Recruitment Seminar, jointly organized by the Vietnam Aviation Academy and Vietravel Airlines. The event also attracted a large number of students from other faculties across the Academy.

During the seminar, students had the opportunity to meet directly with representatives of Vietravel Airlines and gain valuable insights into the company’s working environment, recruitment standards, and the essential skills required to build a successful career in the aviation industry.

One of the highlights of the interactive session was a question from a Faculty of Foreign Languages student regarding opportunities to become an English language instructor at Vietravel Airlines. The airline’s representative explained that there are currently no dedicated positions for English instructors, but encouraged students to consider roles such as Customer Service (Call Center), where they can leverage their strengths in foreign language proficiency, voice quality, and communication skills.

The seminar provided Faculty of Foreign Languages students with valuable exposure to industry practices, helping them better understand employers’ expectations and recognize that foreign language competence is not only a strong foundation for a teaching career but also opens doors to diverse opportunities in aviation, customer service, tourism, and the service industry.

Through activities that strengthen connections with industry partners, the Faculty of Foreign Languages remains committed to supporting students in career planning, skills development, and enhancing their adaptability to the evolving job market.
