With the aim of providing lecturers and students with opportunities to engage with real-world learning and working environments, as well as keeping up with the latest educational and technological trends, the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Vietnam Aviation Academy organized a field trip to the Education Vietnam 2026 (Vietnam International Education Exhibition 2026) on May 6 and 7, 2026. The event was held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City.

Education Vietnam 2026 was an international exhibition and conference on education, technology, and innovation held from May 6–8, 2026. The event brought together numerous educational institutions, enterprises, and technology organizations from both Vietnam and abroad. It showcased a variety of advanced educational solutions, including smart schools, smart classrooms, digital educational technologies, virtual reality-based learning, language education, overseas study opportunities, and lifelong learning initiatives.

As part of the program, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages attended a range of thematic seminars and listened to presentations delivered by educational experts and international business representatives. The discussions focused on emerging educational trends, technology integration in teaching and learning, and the future directions of global education.

In addition, students participating in the program received direct guidance from lecturers before and during the field trip. This guidance aimed to help them establish learning objectives, develop skills for participating in international seminars, learn how to approach and gather information from exhibition booths, and apply effective methods for observing, documenting, and synthesizing real-world information.

Besides attending seminars and exploring exhibition areas, students were required to actively investigate educational products, solutions, and participating companies; collect brochures and corporate information; take photos and videos; and produce an English-language group vlog (3–5 students per group) to present the knowledge, experiences, and lessons they gained throughout the program.

Through direct interactions at exhibition booths, students also had opportunities to engage with representatives from companies, educational institutions, and industry experts. These interactions allowed them to broaden their understanding of practical demands, career trends, and future opportunities for study and internships.

Through these experiential activities, students had the opportunity to apply their language knowledge and skills in authentic contexts while developing essential competencies such as English communication skills, information searching and processing abilities, teamwork, critical thinking, networking skills, content creation, and professional conduct in international environments.

In particular, students who attended at least three sessions of the program and successfully completed their vlog assignment according to the requirements and deadlines, with a score of at least 6 out of 10, would receive recognition equivalent to 1.5–2 Student Development/Conduct Training Days (NRL) in accordance with the Academy’s regulations. This not only served as a practical benefit but also encouraged students to actively engage in experiential learning activities connected to professional practice.

The field trip to Education Vietnam 2026 not only provided meaningful learning experiences but also strengthened connections among the Academy, industry partners, and the academic community. The activity further opened opportunities for networking, collaboration, and career development for students, enabling them to gain exposure to real-world working environments, enhance their professional competencies, and better shape their personal development in the context of globalization and educational transformation.
