From July 7 to July 10, 2025, first-year students from three Class of 2024 cohorts:

🔹 24ĐHXDC1 – specializing in Airport Construction and Development
🔹 24ĐHXD01 and 24ĐHXD02 – specializing in Airport Management and Operation

participated in the mandatory course “Surveying Fieldwork,” an important component of the academic program offered by the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Vietnam Aviation Academy.

Under the dedicated guidance of instructors Nguyễn Chí Trung, Ngô Văn Quân, and Ngô Văn Tình, students successfully completed all practical tasks outlined in the course syllabus, including:
📍 Familiarization with the optical theodolite and automatic level
📍 Simple angle measurements, full-circle measurements, vertical angle measurements, direct and indirect distance measurements
📍 Elevation measurements using trigonometric methods and leveling
📍 Establishing coordinate and elevation control networks
📍 Data processing, topographic and object mapping, and report writing

Through this fieldwork, students not only applied their theoretical knowledge but also gained a deeper understanding of the essential role of surveying in the construction and operation of airport infrastructure. They took the first steps toward mastering surveying instruments such as the theodolite and level, while also learning how to process data and present surveying results in a scientific manner.
