1,536 Contestants Compete in Smart Logistics Challenge 2026

Launched on June 1, SLC26 attracted 1,536 contestants from numerous universities in Ho Chi Minh City and across other provinces and cities. Participants included students from the Vietnam Aviation Academy, Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering, RMIT University, and other institutions.

Teams were required not only to present solutions but also to apply knowledge, data, and critical thinking to address real-world challenges in the industry.

Starting from the qualifying round, contestants progressed through the Blind Round, Head-to-Head Round, and Knockout Round to select the Top 6 teams: VNA, FVU, Pivot, Nexus, LogMaster, and LogiQ. Over nearly four months of competition, the teams tackled challenges related to logistics, supply chains, smart logistics, and sustainable development, while strengthening their analytical thinking, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills.

At the Grand Final, teams were required not only to present their solutions but also to apply knowledge, data, and critical thinking to address practical industry challenges. The Debate between the two leading teams focused on balancing green logistics with cost optimization and operational capabilities, creating a direct discussion around an issue of growing interest to businesses.

FVU Crowned Champion of SLC26

Following the competition rounds, FVU was crowned the champion of Smart Logistics Challenge 2026. The team comprised Nguyễn Hữu Vĩ from the Vietnam Aviation Academy; Nguyễn Trí Quan and Phạm Gia Kiệt from Foreign Trade University – Ho Chi Minh City Campus; and Cao Minh Hoàng from the University of Transport and Communications.

Nexus finished as the runner-up, with members from RMIT University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Engineering and the University of Transport and Communications. The remaining four teams in the Top 6 received the SLC26 Logistics Promising Team Award.

SLC26 Concludes Its First Season, Creating New Opportunities for Students to Learn from Real-World Practice, Develop Critical Thinking, and Turn Knowledge into Action

In its inaugural season, Smart Logistics Challenge 2026 highlighted the role of academic activities and student clubs in expanding learning beyond the classroom, enabling students to engage with emerging challenges in logistics and supply chain management as technology, data, and growing demands for sustainable development continue to reshape the industry.

SLC26 concludes its first season while creating a new space for students to learn from real-world practice, sharpen their thinking, and turn knowledge into action.
