FACULTY OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES CONTRIBUTES TO THE SUCCESSFUL ORGANIZATION OF ENGLISH RACE

To provide students with a meaningful academic platform while enhancing their English proficiency and developing essential soft skills, the English Race competition was successfully held on the morning of May 31, 2026, at Campus 2 of the Vietnam Aviation Academy. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from competing teams as well as a large number of student supporters.

Designed to encourage students to apply English in authentic contexts, the competition featured a series of engaging challenges that required participants to demonstrate their language proficiency, quick thinking, critical thinking, communication skills, and teamwork. Throughout the event, the competing teams showcased confidence, determination, and strong collaborative spirit in every round.

As the academic partner of the competition, the Faculty of Foreign Languages was responsible for developing the question bank, designing the competition tasks, and evaluating participants’ performances. The Faculty’s contribution helped ensure the fairness, accuracy, and academic quality of the competition. The tasks were carefully designed to match students’ English proficiency levels while providing opportunities to apply language skills in practical communication and real-world problem-solving situations.

The success of English Race highlights the value of extracurricular academic activities in connecting classroom learning with authentic experiences. It also contributes to fostering a dynamic learning environment and encourages students to develop their English competence, essential soft skills, and global mindset.
