From the Freshman Lab to a SCIE Q1 H-index 220 Publication by Graduation

Nearly four years ago, Võ Văn Quang Anh knew little about scientific research. Today, he is a co-author of a SCIE Q1 paper on the aerodynamic wake vortices behind aircraft.

Recently, the research paper “Direct Numerical Simulation of Instability in Counter-Rotating Vortex Pair–Wall Interaction” was published in Physics of Fluids, a SCIE Q1 journal in the fields of fluid mechanics and aerodynamics.

Notably, alongside three lecturers from the Vietnam Aviation Academy—Dr. Nguyễn Văn Lục, Dr. Nguyễn Thế Hoàng, and M.Eng. Nguyễn Đình Thắng—the list of authors also includes Võ Văn Quang Anh, a final-year student from the Faculty of Aeronautical Engineering.
