VIET NAM AVIATION ACADEMY SUCCESSFULLY CONDUCTS TRAINING WORKSHOP ON WRITING SELF-ASSESSMENT REPORTS ACCORDING TO CIRCULAR 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT
In preparation for the comprehensive self-assessment and accreditation of training programs in 2026, Viet Nam Aviation Academy successfully organized a two-day training workshop themed “Writing Self-Assessment Reports according to Circular 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT” on June 22 and 23, 2026.
The workshop saw the active participation of esteemed faculty members from the Self-Assessment Council, heads of specialized working groups, lecturers, and specialists from various administrative departments.

Updating Accreditation Perspectives in Line with New MOET Regulations
The core focus of this training session was the implementation and thorough understanding of the key contents of Circular No. 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT, issued on February 17, 2025, by the Minister of Education and Training. This crucial legal document regulates the quality accreditation of higher education training programs across all levels.
Early and accurate alignment with these new standards allows the institution to standardize its processes, objectively assess the current status of its training programs, and continuously drive educational quality improvements.
Fostering Teamwork and Direct Hands-on Practice
Moving away from purely theoretical lectures, this workshop required all participants to utilize personal laptops to work directly on data and draft sections according to assignments designated in the Decision to establish the Self-Assessment Council. The specialized working groups proactively prepared comprehensive evidence portfolios tailored to their specific mandates:
-
Groups 1 and 2 (responsible for Standards 1, 2, 3, 4): Focused on reviewing and working with guidelines for curriculum development/adjustment; curriculum revision portfolios; current training programs; mapping matrices of program learning outcomes (PLOs) and courses; detailed course syllabi; as well as regulations and guidelines on course assessments.
-
Groups 3 and 4 (responsible for Standards 5, 6, 7, 8): Concentrated on completing and processing evidence portfolios tied directly to the professional functions and duties of respective departments.

Under the strategic coordination of the Group Leaders, members engaged in vibrant and candid discussions to identify bottlenecks in evidence collection and report writing, thereby co-creating optimal solutions. Notably, the flexibility of administrative specialists—who actively supported and coordinated across multiple Councils—ensured a smooth and synchronized flow of information and data among the groups.
All Set for the 2026 Training Program Accreditation
After two days of serious, urgent, and highly effective work, the training workshop successfully achieved its goals. Participants not only mastered the methodology for writing self-assessment reports under the new framework of Circular 04/2025/TT-BGDĐT but also fostered the mindset and skills necessary to deliver top-quality assessment reports.
The success of this workshop serves as a solid stepping stone, demonstrating the high commitment of the institution’s collective faculty and staff toward affirming educational prestige and achieving milestones in the upcoming 2026 accreditation cycle.
