Vietnamese Aviation Academy Students Learn Life Skills Through Real-Life Experiences
Instead of simply listening to presentations, nearly 500 students at the Vietnam Aviation Academy engaged in real-life simulations on July 1, gaining hands-on firefighting experience while joining campaigns to raise awareness about drug prevention and high-tech crime.

The program was jointly organized by the Vietnam Aviation Academy, Tan Son Nhat Ward Police, and Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police Team No. 14.
It provided students with practical knowledge on drug prevention, online fraud and high-tech crime awareness, social vice prevention, and essential skills for responding to fire and emergency situations.

One of the highlights of the program was a student-performed skit on drug prevention and awareness.
Rather than relying on one-way lectures, the realistic and relatable scenarios helped students better recognize the risks and temptations that exist in everyday life, encouraging them to protect themselves and contribute to a safer community.
The atmosphere became even more energetic during the firefighting practice session. Under the guidance of officers from the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Police, students had the opportunity to operate fire extinguishers, learn how to control small fires, and develop essential emergency response skills. The enthusiastic participation, eager volunteers, and rounds of applause throughout the hands-on activities reflected the students’ strong interest and proactive spirit in learning practical life skills.
