Vietnam Aviation Academy welcomed a delegation from Sangmyung University (South Korea), led by President Kim Jong-hee, and officially signed a cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
During the working session, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on strategic directions for collaboration in education, research, and the development of high-quality human resources aligned with industry needs. President Kim Jong-hee emphasized that combining the strengths of Sangmyung University and Vietnam Aviation Academy would not only open up new approaches in higher education but also contribute to shaping an advanced training model. This model aims to develop a workforce with strong professional competencies, high adaptability, and the readiness to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of industries in the new era.

The event marks a significant milestone in the strategy to internationalize education, opening up opportunities for academic exchange, research collaboration, and the development of high-quality human resources in line with international standards.
Beyond cooperation in education and research, the agreement also aims to strengthen industry linkages, promote internship and student exchange programs, and facilitate knowledge transfer. This approach is considered well-aligned with the current shift in higher education from mass training to more focused, high-quality education closely connected to the practical demands of the labor market.

Leaders of the two institutions signed the cooperation agreement in the presence of representatives from both sides.
Expanding partnerships with international universities—particularly those from South Korea, a country known for its advanced education system closely linked to industry—not only enables students to access a modern learning environment but also enhances their employment opportunities within multinational corporations after graduation.
In the long term, Vietnam Aviation Academy aims to become a regional hub for high-quality aviation workforce training, with programs increasingly aligned with international standards to meet the development needs of both Vietnam’s aviation sector and the global industry.
