UNITOUR DEBATE 2025: ACHIEVEMENTS FROM THE STUDENTS OF VIETNAM AVIATION ACADEMY

On the evening of November 4th, students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) had the honor of participating in the Final Round of Unitour Debate 2025. The event took place at the International Institute – University of Economics and Finance (UEF) in a vibrant and intellectually driven atmosphere. As a platform for students passionate about argumentation and critical debate, the competition brought together outstanding teams from various universities and academies across Ho Chi Minh City.

Throughout the competition, the representatives of Vietnam Aviation Academy demonstrated professionalism and confidence in every part of their performance.

In the English division, The Clashics (consisting of students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages) showcased their composure, sharp reasoning, and well-structured arguments in each debate round. Addressing the topic “Startups fail mainly because of their business model, not their product,” the team skillfully applied social knowledge, logical thinking, and flexible argumentation to defend their stance convincingly.

The Clashics excellently secured Third Place overall (Unitour Debate Bronze Team) — a remarkable achievement in such a highly competitive academic arena.

In addition, student Vũ Thị Hoài Thương (Faculty of Foreign Languages, Vietnam Aviation Academy) was honored with the title of “Unitour Debate Best Speaker 2025.”

These accomplishments stand as a clear testament to the quality of English training at the academy, as well as the initiative, creativity, and academic spirit of its students when participating in inter-university competitions.
