Conference of Officials, Lecturers, and Employees for the 2025–2026 Academic Year
On October 4, 2025, the Vietnam Aviation Academy (VAA) held its Conference of Officials, Lecturers, and Employees for the 2025–2026 academic year to review and evaluate the results of the 2023–2024 academic year, discuss and approve internal regulations, and set forth key directions and tasks for the new academic year.
Attending and delivering remarks at the Conference was Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Tùng, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union. Also in attendance were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Hoài An, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Academy Council; Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng, Director of the Academy; Ms. Nguyễn Thị Cẩm Lệ, Chairwoman of the Academy’s Trade Union; along with members of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, unit leaders, and representatives of the Academy’s officials, lecturers, and employees.
In the 2024–2025 academic year, the Vietnam Aviation Academy successfully achieved its set goals, attaining significant accomplishments in training, scientific research, international cooperation, and especially in caring for the material and spiritual well-being of its staff and employees. Financial management was conducted in a transparent and compliant manner, reflecting the strong sense of accountability shared by the Academy’s leadership and the Trade Union in ensuring proper oversight and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the workforce.

Delivering his speech at the Conference, Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Tùng, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Construction Trade Union, commended the Academy for its achievements over the past year. He emphasized that, in the new period, the Academy should continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, democracy, innovation, and creativity; focus on improving the quality of training and scientific research; and pay close attention to the implementation of welfare policies and benefits, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of all officials, lecturers, and employees.
The Conference also featured discussions and contributions to various reports and internal regulations; the election of the People’s Inspection Committee for the 2025–2027 term; and the adoption of the Conference Resolution, which received unanimous approval from all delegates — reflecting the unity, democracy, responsibility, and determination of the entire Academy as it embarks on the new academic year.

A highlight of the event was the signing ceremony of the 2025–2026 emulation agreement between the Academy’s administration and its Trade Union. This meaningful activity reaffirmed the strong coordination between the two sides in fostering a democratic, disciplined, and creative working environment, promoting employees’ participation in decision-making, and continually improving the quality of training, research, and staff welfare at the Academy.
The Conference of Officials, Lecturers, and Employees for the 2025–2026 academic year concluded in a spirit of unity, enthusiasm, and optimism, marking the beginning of a new academic year full of promise, success, and sustainable development.
