Vietnam Aviation Academy honors the tradition of “Remembering the source when drinking water” through the 27/7 commemorative gathering

On the morning of July 25, in commemoration of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2025), the Vietnam Aviation Academy held a warm and heartfelt gathering for staff members who are children of war invalids and wounded soldiers currently working at the Academy.

The event was attended by Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Academy; Dr. Nguyễn Thị Cẩm Lệ – Chairwoman of the Trade Union; Mr. Nguyễn Hoàng Hiệp – Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, along with representatives from various departments and 14 staff members who are children of war invalids and wounded soldiers.

Speaking at the gathering, Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng expressed deep gratitude for the tremendous sacrifices and contributions made by previous generations in the struggle for national liberation and the defense of the homeland.

She also acknowledged and highly appreciated the dedication and positive contributions of staff members who are children of war invalids and wounded soldiers in teaching, research, and the continuous development of the Academy.

Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng presented gifts and took commemorative photos with Academy staff members.

The gathering took place in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere, providing an opportunity for staff members to share, encourage one another, and continue upholding their proud family traditions of revolutionary service.

It also reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to the mission of education and training high-quality human resources for the nation’s aviation sector.
