HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WORKSHOP: “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) IN COMMERCIAL AVIATION 101”

On the morning of July 18, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration – Vietnam Aviation Academy successfully organized the Management in Practice Workshop with the theme “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Commercial Aviation 101.” The event attracted a large number of lecturers, experts, researchers, and students from both within and outside the Academy.

 Notably, the Workshop had the honor of welcoming Dr. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng – Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, whose attendance demonstrated the strong support of the Academy’s leadership for academic activities and innovation in the field of aviation management.

The keynote speaker of the program was Dr. Nguyễn Đình Cảnh – Assistant Professor at the University of Central Missouri, USA. With extensive knowledge and practical experience in Artificial Intelligence and Aviation over the years, Dr. Cảnh provided participants with a comprehensive overview of:

• Prominent applications of Artificial Intelligence in commercial aviation

• How AI supports operational optimization and enhances passenger experience

• Future trends in AI development and career opportunities for students in Aviation Management

The Workshop was not only a platform for knowledge sharing but also served as an academic bridge connecting students with international experts. The vibrant discussion session and the practical, thought-provoking questions from participants created an open, innovative, and inspiring academic atmosphere.
