On June 6, 2025, as part of an official working visit to the Czech Republic, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng – Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy – accompanied the high-level delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, led by Deputy Minister Nguyễn Văn Phúc, with the goal of promoting educational, training, and scientific research cooperation between the two countries.
Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy ‘opens the flight path’ for academic cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic

Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hải Hằng – Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy – and Mr. Milan Adámek, Rector of Tomas Bata University, signed a cooperation agreement.
At the Vietnam – Czech Republic Roundtable Conference on Education, Training, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Ms. Hải Hằng, on behalf of the Vietnam Aviation Academy, signed cooperation agreements with Tomas Bata University and the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by representatives from the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the Embassy of Vietnam in the Czech Republic, underscoring the pioneering role of the Vietnam Aviation Academy in expanding international cooperation in education and research — especially in high technology and aviation.
Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnamese Universities and the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic
As part of the official visit, the Director of the Vietnam Aviation Academy also participated in a seminar on education, science, technology, and digital transformation cooperation. On this occasion, the Academy’s leadership signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Vietnamese universities and the Union of Vietnamese Associations in the Czech Republic.
This working trip is part of a broader national strategy to strengthen connections among universities, research institutes, and enterprises of both countries. In addition to the Vietnam Aviation Academy, many other Vietnamese universities and research institutes also signed cooperation agreements with Czech partners.
Key areas of focus promoted during the visit included:

Exchange of lecturers and students, and implementation of joint training programs (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels)

Establishment of joint research groups in the field of artificial intelligence (AI)

Organization of international competitions in technology and unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)

Proposal to establish a Vietnam – Czech Republic Center for Educational and Research Cooperation
