Vietnam Aviation Academy participates in Vietnam Aviation Investment Forum Training – MRO – Logistics

On the morning of August 15, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, a press conference was held for the Vietnam Aviation Investment Program Training – MRO – Logistics (Program). The program is organized by Vietnam Air Show Joint Stock Company.

The program was attended by state management agencies in charge of aviation, representatives of international organizations, aviation experts, domestic and foreign aviation training schools. The program is a forum, discussion, and connection exchange about solutions to the current situation and prospects of Vietnam’s aviation industry.

Representatives of the Aviation Academy attending the program were Dr. Tran Thi Thai Binh – Head of Aviation Economics (Faculty of Aeronautical Economics, Vietnam Aviation Academy). Speaking at the program, Dr. Tran Thi Thai Binh said that Vietnam’s aviation industry has had incredible growth in the past decade. However, this growth comes with significant challenges – most notably the urgent need for high-quality human resources.

Dr. Binh emphasized three important areas in which high-quality human resources are essential for the sustainable development of Vietnam’s aviation industry, including: the need for intensive training, the importance of local professional development and the role of international cooperation in building a world-class workforce.

The program is organized to serve the growth of Vietnam’s aviation industry with the following themes: Growth of aviation industry in Vietnam; Airport franchise and Vietnam’s Aviation development program; Demand for training human resources in Vietnam’s aviation industry; The commercial outlook of aircraft manufacturers Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and other aircraft manufacturers… in the Vietnamese aviation market; Significant improvements: Transforming aircraft maintenance with AI4.0 technology.
