Announcement of Scholarships for Vietnamese Citizens under Bilateral Agreements for Study Abroad in 2024
Subject: Announcement of Scholarships for Study in Hungary under the 2024 Bilateral Agreement
Dear Faculty Members,
The Department of Organization and Administration would like to bring to your attention Official Notification No. 1935/TB-Bộ GDĐT dated November 21, 2023, from the Ministry of Education and Training regarding the scholarship program for study in Hungary under the 2024 bilateral agreement.
The Hungarian Government is offering up to 200 scholarships for Vietnamese citizens to pursue studies in Hungary at the undergraduate, one-tier master’s (OTM), master’s (MA/MSc), and doctoral levels.
Scholarship Benefits:
The Hungarian Government scholarship covers tuition fees, research costs, health insurance, and provides a monthly stipend for accommodation and living expenses according to Hungarian regulations.
Eligibility Criteria:
– Applicants for undergraduate and one-tier master’s programs must have been born before September 1, 2006 (except for applicants in dance programs).
– Applicants for master’s and doctoral programs must be no older than 40 years of age as of January 12, 2024.
– Applicants for master’s and doctoral scholarships must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to “Good” or higher. Preference will be given to candidates working in organizations with cooperative relations with Hungary or those who have previously studied in Hungary.
Application Process:
Applicants must submit a complete application package in Vietnamese to the Department of International Cooperation by January 12, 2024. Simultaneously, applicants must also complete the online application on the portals of the Department of International Cooperation (http://tuyensinh.vied.vn) and the Tempus Public Foundation (http://www.apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu) by January 15, 2024.
